Shoreless Lake School students recently enjoyed an unforgettable autumn adventure at Devil's Lake State Park, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Webb family.
The day began with a guided tour up the scenic East Bluff Trail, led by our knowledgeable guide, Sue. With enthusiasm and expertise, Sue captivated the students as she explained the fascinating geological history of Devil's Lake and its unique rock formations. The students were engaged and curious throughout the hike, asking thoughtful questions and marveling at the ancient quartzite bluffs that tower over the lake.

We were blessed with absolutely gorgeous fall weather and stunning autumn colors. The vibrant leaves in brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold made the experience even more memorable, showcasing the beauty of God's creation. The students had a wonderful time exploring the trail and taking in the breathtaking views from the bluff.

After working up an appetite on the hike, the Webb family graciously treated everyone to a delicious Subway lunch. We gathered for a picnic by the lake, enjoying our sandwiches and the peaceful beauty of the water and surrounding bluffs.

The day concluded with a visit to the Devil's Lake Nature Center, where students explored interactive displays showcasing Wisconsin's diverse plant life, wildlife, and rich natural history. The hands-on exhibits provided the perfect educational complement to our outdoor adventure.

We are deeply grateful to the Webb family for their generous hearts and for making this field trip possible. Days like these create lasting memories and inspire our students to appreciate the wonders of the natural world around us.
