Thanks to the incredible hospitality of the Webb family, our students enjoyed a perfect autumn day at Devil's Lake State Park in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The crisp fall air and colorful foliage provided an ideal backdrop for our outdoor adventure.
The day began with an invigorating hike along the East Bluff Trail. Students eagerly pointed out the beautiful fall colors while taking in the spectacular views of the lake below.
As the cool fall air nipped at our noses, Mr. Webb fired up the grill for a welcomed lunch break. Hot dogs sizzled while students shared stories about their morning. The warm meal was exactly what everyone needed to recharge.
The day's grand finale featured a cozy bonfire where students mastered the art of s'more-making. Laughter and conversation flowed as freely as the gooey marshmallows. Afterwards, the students gathered by the shore to take in the last few moments of the beautifully vivid landscape.
Special thanks to the Webb family for hosting such a wonderful educational experience. Their hospitality transformed what could have been a standard field trip into a warm, memorable autumn adventure that our students won't soon forget.
The combination of outdoor education, physical activity, and good food proved to be a winning formula for engaging students in natural sciences while building lasting memories.
