Students got more than just theory during yesterday's fire safety training, thanks to special guest instructor Mr. O'Brian, a retired firefighter with 8 years of service. Trading in textbooks for hands-on experience, our students learned crucial fire safety skills through engaging demonstrations. The highlight? A supervised fire extinguisher practice that had students grinning from ear to ear.
Drawing from his extensive experience, Mr. O'Brian shared real-world stories that captured students' attention and drove home important safety lessons. From proper evacuation procedures to identifying fire hazards, students left equipped with practical knowledge they can use both at school and home.
