The annual Chili Cook-Off at St. Aloysius set the stage for an exciting Catholic Schools Week at Shoreless Lake School, with some students making their mark by winning first place in the dessert contest with their creative dirt cakes. Kim and Katelyn Fishnick contributed to the sweet success by donating their time and materials, spending a fun morning baking with some of the students and helping them prepare their award-winning dessert.

Catholic Schools Week at Shoreless Lake School was a vibrant celebration of community, compassion, and service. Throughout the week, the school community came together to share special lunches and meaningful experiences that highlighted the school's commitment to caring for others.

The week began with a heartwarming Monday that combined delicious food and community service. The Enerson family generously donated lunch, setting the tone for a week of giving. Students embraced the spirit of service by working on a touching project with Justice for a Cure, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting cancer research and those affected by cancer. The students spent time carefully decorating ribbons that will be delivered to cancer survivors and patients, spreading hope and showing their compassionate hearts.

Each subsequent day brought its own unique culinary delight. The Bellinder family treated students to a wonderful lunch on Tuesday, while the Webb family brought pizza and ice cream to make Wednesday extra special. Thursday saw Ms. Valentina preparing a delicious pasta dish that brought warmth and flavor to the school's lunch period.

Beyond the delicious meals, the week embodied the true spirit of Catholic education – community, service, and compassion. Through their acts of kindness, from decorating ribbons for cancer patients to sharing meals donated by families, teachers, and the community, the students of Shoreless Lake School demonstrated the power of coming together and supporting one another.
