Mathematics C

This course is designed to help students develop skills in the use of mathematical operations, in problem solving as well as developing skills and understanding of the measurement concept. Students will understand fundamental concepts in algebra and will gain a comprehension of the use of statistics, data analysis, and probability.Students will be able to interpret and use information of problems to find their solutions and will develop their ability to explain mathematical procedures. The student will amplify his mathematical reasoning. The student will demonstrate an understanding of the practical use of mathematics, finding solutions to everyday problems.

The Saxon method has an effective system of assessment of the students’ knowledge. Much care is taken in the correction of the problem sets, for it is an opportunity to focus on the problems that are more difficult for each student. The center is based on a close evaluation of each student’s needs. Tests are given periodically.
